The label has six releases under it’s belt with four more already in production. One of the releases in 2009 will include the Murkville soundtrack titled, Cooyamintad Vol. 1, of which has contributing artists Page France, Peter and the Wolf, Anathallo and many others writing original songs based on a book that co-founder Ryan Feerer along with Silence partner Andy Smith have written and illustrated about a mystical world called Thy Old Murkville Forest.
Thy Old Murkville Forest

Thy Old Murkville Forest is the tale of Ryan Feerer, a small-town graduate transplanted in New York City, who inherits a chest from his recently deceased grandfather. The chest is full of journals, photographs, and other ephemera, all bearing the stamp of Murkville, a fantastic island Ryan’s grandfather had told him tales about as a child. The reality of this imaginary world called into question, Ryan sets out to find Murkville. He departs on a rickety ship with only his grandfather’s journals to guide him, travelogues dense with sketches of bizarre flora, descriptions of tree villages, natural wonders, and pontifications on the strange creatures that inhabit the forest. “I do not know what this island is, or if it has been explored by men before, but there is something familiar about it as if I am visiting a place I have only visited in dreams. [ . . . ] It appears that there are active volcanoes spouting steam at a not very great distance [ . . . ] I set foot on dry land tomorrow.”
